INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian track and field team completed their regular season on Friday afternoon, competing in their first track meet serving as the hosts, as they hosted the Marian Invitational. The Knights had several top marks and new NAIA standards, and were highlighted by the school record for Tristan Trevino in the mile.

Tristan Trevino dominated the mile race and set a new school record, recording Marian's lone NAIA A standard on the day with his record time of 4:11.47. Trevino broke the previous school record set in 2016 by over five seconds, and entering February 10 holds the No. 4 time in the NAIA.

Also highlighting Friday's meet were wins by Armani Glass and Matthew Riehle, while Raif Miller won the 600m and hit his first career standard with a B mark. Marian's 4x400m relay team also earned an NAIA B standard mark with their win, and senior Isaiah Tipping hit the NAIA B standard in the shot put, doing so in the event for the first time this season. 

Marian will host the Crossroads League Indoor Track and Field Championships next weekend, with day one taking place on Friday at the Fall Creek Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
