INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian men's soccer reserve team won their opening match of the season on Monday August 26, defeating the Marian Ancilla Chargers 3-0.

Marian collected goals from Jayden Francis, Noah Almeida, and Eli Moody in the win, with Moody, Cole Fogleman, and Peter Hall assisting on the scores. In goal Alessandro Gonzales made five saves, logging the action in net during the shutout.

Daniel Lopez dominated the midfield helping anchor the Knights defense, while several of the Knights put together strong efforts on all three lines.
