Lima, Ohio - The Knights came up in a 0-0 draw on the road against UNOH. The Knights are now 4-1-1 overall.
The Knights offense claimed a lot of the action with
Kiley Jones tallying up three corner kicks in the first half of the first period while
Naomi Walters,
Katie Koger, and
Sammie King having one shot each at the 21' mark. The rest of the half was very back and fourth with multiple fouls being called on each side. Marian out shot UNOH 4-2 in the first half while
Lily Ames had one save.
Marian came out strong once again benefiting shot attempts off of yellow cards given to the home team. The Knights claimed three shots all on goal after the two yellow cards were given out.
Naomi Walters, and
Marian Corro Celma were the two who claimed two shots on target. But came up short to end the game 0-0.
The Knights out shot UNO 10-5 with 6-1 being on target. Corro Celma,
Layla Brown, Walters, and
Olivia Parmer led the team in shots with two each.
Lily Ames took the win in goal with one save.
Marian will be back in action Tuesday at home against St. Francis (Ill.) starting at 7:00 p.m. at home.
