JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League announced its athletes of the week on Monday, and Marian men's cross country junior Tristan Trevino was honored by the league as the Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week. The honor is the first for Trevino this season.

Trevino competed at the Alabama-Huntsville Invitational, finishing eighth-of-285 against NCAA Division II athletes. The Marian junior crossed with a time of 24:38.3, logging the top-time in the Crossroads League over the weekend.

The Knights next run on October 25, heading north to Grand Rapids, Michigan, for the annual NAIA Great Lakes Challenge.
