Belleville, Ill. - The Marian women's bowling team traveled to Belleville, Illinois, this past weekend to compete in the McKendree match games, finishing ninth overall.
Mount Mercy finished in first with 7797 points while Lindenwood finished as the runner-up with 7731 points. SCAD-Savannah, Missouri Baptist, and Cumberland wrapped up the top five while the Knights finished in ninth with 7045 points.
Paige Richards led the Knights, finishing in 15th place with 952 total pins knocked down, recording a game high of 242 in game three.
Delaney Rossette was the next to finish for Marian in 35th place with 881 total pins knocked down, bowling a game high in game four of 190. Alexis Jones rounded out the top three Knights, finishing in 46th place, knocking down 850 pins with a game high of 181 in game two.
Abigail Dwyer was the next to finish from Marian, finishing in 69th place with 804 total pins knocked down with a game high of 180 in game four.
Marianna Hunt finished in 135th bowling in two games, recording a game high of 153 in game three.
Avery Hunt also bowled in two games, recording a total of 287 with a game high of 156 in game five. Dolores Baurele bowled in one game, recording a total of 152.
Marian will be back in action on Friday, December 5th, as they travel to Marion, Ind., to compete in the Crossroads League Meet 1 hosted by Indiana Wesleyan.
