Beavercreek, Ohio - The Marian women's bowling team qualified in the top three at the Raider Classic to wrap up the weekend. The No. 16-ranked Knights qualified third overall during the weekend. After bracket play, the Knights finished fourth overall in the competition.
Wright State University earned the championship with 7091 points, while the University of Northwestern Ohio finished in second with 6780 points. Marian rounded out the top three, coming in third with 6422 points. The University of the Cumberlands came in fourth with 6320 points, and Shawnee State rounded out the top five with 6251 points. Huntington was the only other Crossroads League school to compete, finishing in sixth.
Paige Richards led the way for the Knights, finishing in eighth with a score of 776 and a game high of 220 in game four. Alexis Jones rounded out the top 10 with a 10-place finish. Jones knocked down 760 pins and recorded a game high of 233 in game four.
Avery Hunt came in 17th with a total score of 731, recording a game high in game two with 203 pins.
Mary Brooks was the next to place in 22nd with a total of 712, recording a game high in game one with 205 pins.
Delaney Rossette bowled in a pair of games totaling 310 pins knocked down, with a game high in game two with 166 pins.
Abigail Dwyer bowled in one game, recording a 206 in game four.
Dolores Bauerle also bowled in one game, recording a 128 in game three.
In JV action, the Knights finished in second for the first team and fourth for the second team. The first team scored 6330 overall, and the second team finished with 5057 pins overall. In team one action,

Skylar Thomas finished in 13th,
Emily Reneau finished in 15th,
Phoenix Newkirk finished in 28th, and Elena Vanhoutin finished in 51st. In second team action,
Hailey Johnson finished in 53rd,
Nadiah Rittenhouse finished in 58th,
Natalie Black finished in 59th,
Savannah Rider finished in 74th, and
Joy Dolack finished in 91st.
Marian will be back in action as they travel to O'Fallon, Illinois, to compete in the National Collegiate Team Match Games on November 22nd-23rd.
