On Friday, December 19, the Associated Press (AP) announced its NAIA All-Americans for football, with the Marian football team earning three All-America honors. Adding to their mantles this fall are
Logan Carrington,
Reece Byerly, and
Keagan La Belle.
Logan Carrington was named as an AP First Team All-American, while both
Reece Byerly and
Keagan La Belle were named as AP Second Team All-Americans.
Indiana Wesleyan had the most first-team selections with three, while Morningside's Zack Chevalier and Drew Sellon were named repeat members of the First Team.
A panel of sports information directors at NAIA schools selected the teams.
Logan Carrington finished his senior season on a high note for the Knights, leading the team in interceptions as the starting safety as he was named as a member of the AP All-America First Team. Carrington poached eight interceptions and broke up another six passes, finishing the regular season second in picks in the NAIA. The safety made 39 tackles with one being a sack, and also forced one fumble on the season. Carrington ended his Marian career as a First Team All-MSFA honoree, and ranks fourth in program history in career interceptions. Carrington was recently named as a member of the AFCA All-America Third Team.
Reece Byerly followed up his recent honor as an AFCA First Team All-American with a spot on the AP All-America Second Team, as the third-year Knight continues to add postseason honors. Byerly enjoyed a dominant season for the Knights in his third season, leading Marian's offensive line as the lone player to start in all 12 games. Stepping in as the team's starting left tackle in his first season seeing snaps for the Knights, Byerly helped pave the way for
Keagan La Belle's scoring record and aided Marian's offense in rushing for 220.0 yards per game. The left tackle was named as a member of the MSFA Midwest League First Team and earned NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors this season. Marian had the sixth-most rushing yards in single season history in 2025 behind the work of Byerly and the other four members of the offensive line.
The third-leading rusher in Marian history,
Keagan La Belle, adds to his postseason haul, as he was named to the AP All-America Second Team. Previously named as a member of the AFCA Second Team All-America group, La Belle had a career year in 2025, rushing for 1296 yards and 22 touchdowns on 241 carries, while catching eight passes out of the backfield for 73 yards and two scores. La Belle set Marian's single-season rushing touchdown record, breaking the mark held by Tevin Lake and Charles Salary in the team's win over St. Francis (Ill.) on November 1. A native of McCordsville, La Belle finished his Marian career second all-time in rushing touchdowns, third all-time in rushing yards, fifth all-time in total scoring, fifth all-time in all-purpose yardage, and 10th all-time in total offense. The senior was named the MVP of the MSFA Midwest League and was a First Team all-conference selection this year.
