INDIANAPOLIS - On Monday afternoon, the Marian softball program announced the signing of Isabelle Steele, the fourth announced signing for head coach
Scott Fleming in his 2026 signing class.
Isabelle Steele comes to Marian from Plainfield High School, where she plays both catcher and third base for the Quakers. As a junior, Steele batted .265 with 13 base hits, seven of which were extra-base hits in the form of five doubles and two home runs. Steele had 13 RBI as a junior, and in her time at Plainfield, she has earned three varsity letters in both softball and soccer. Throughout her high school career, Stelle has been named as a three-time All-Academic conference honoree, and in soccer, was named as the team's Most Improved Player. Steele plays travel softball for the Demand Command Jarvis Travel Team, where she batted a blistering .477 this fall.Â
A member of her school's National Honor Society, Isabelle Steele will major in exercise science at Marian University.
