INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian softball team announced their sixth signee for their 2025 recruiting class, as head coach Scott Fleming announced the signing of Jaelyn Phillips. Phillips announced her signing with Marian University last week.

Jaelyn Phillips comes to the Knights from the Sunshine State, as the Orlando native attended Cornerstone Charter Academy. Phillips is an outfielder for her high school team, and enters her senior year with a career .368 batting average. The Florida native has scored 74 runs throughout her varsity high school career, and will be a four-year letterwinner after her senior season concludes. Phillips was named to the All-Orlando Metro East Team as both a freshman and sophomore, and off the field has high academic excellence carrying a GPA of over 4.0. Phillips is in her school's national honors society and National Science Honors Society. 

At Marian University, Jaelyn Phillips intends to major in nursing.
