Women's Track and Field Ends Season at 2025 NAIA Outdoor Championships

Marion, Ind.- The Marian women's track and field team wrapped up their season competing in the NAIA Outdoor National Championships. The Knights finished off their year placing 40th out of 69 teams.

The Knights recorded six points to tie with Rio Grande, St. Xavier, Missouri Baptist, and St. Mary (Neb.). British Columbia took first place with 105 points while Life came in second with 77. William Carey, Dickinson State, and Doane rounded out the top five.

Katie Woods opened up the day on the track in the 1500m finishing ninth with a time of 4:33.34. Nora Steele earned her first NAIA All-American individual honor of the week in the 800m. Steele finished in eighth with a time of 2:11.95 to close out the day on the track.

Brooke Coffman opened up action in the field competing in the pole vault. Coffman placed in 11th with a mark of 1.66m. Hadleigh Filipovich and Gabi Bilbrey closed out the day in the discus. Filipovich placed in 15th with a mark of 41.80m while Bilbrey finished with no mark.

 
The Knights finish the week off earning five All-American honors throughout NAIA Championship to close out their season.
