FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Marian women's track and field team returned to competition in its 2025-26 season on Friday, competing at the Indiana Tech Indoor Invitational. The Knights picked up three new national qualifying marks, while collecting a total of five on the day as they pick up their efforts this season.

Marian recorded seven total first place finishes on the day, highlighted by Summer Rempe's wins in the 1000m and as a member of the 4x400m relay. Rempe hit an NAIA B standard in her first race at the 1000m this season. Hanna Reuter won the 600m with an NAIA B standard time and also finished as the runner-up in the long jump, while Ozofu Magaji threw a season-best mark of 17.05m in the weight throw. Delaney Teachnor recorded her third total standard mark of the season in the pole vault with her win at 3.55m, and Nina Marinkovic led a balanced day with a first place in the long jump. Ciarra Moore earned her first-career NAIA B standard with a distance of 11.52m in the triple jump, and Catalla Jones earned her first victory of the season with a win in the 400m race.

Marian will split the team's efforts next weekend as they continue the 2025-26 indoor season, with one group competing at the Indiana State Fairgrounds and the other at Taylor University.
