JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League announced its 2025 Baseball All-League honors on Wednesday, following Taylor's second-straight sweep of the regular season and tournament championships. Marian baseball earned three All-Crossroads League Honors in the 2025 season, with
Zach Bale,
Davis Enfield, and
Jace Stoops each earning Second Team All-Crossroads League.
Zach Bale made an impact for the Knights on both the offensive and defensive sides of the game in his first season with the program, as the first baseman made All-Crossroads League Second Team. Bale led the Knights in nearly every offensive category, posting a team-high .346 batting average to go with a .667 slugging percentage. Bale roped 18 doubles and 10 home runs on the season, plating 48 runs while scoring 33 times. The first baseman finished the season with an OPS of 1.097 and defensively had a fielding percentage of .988, making 252 putouts on the season. The first baseman enjoyed a season-best 16-game hitting streak in the month of March, and ended the season on a four-game hitting streak, earning Crossroads League Player of the Week this past Monday.
Davis Enfield had a career season in 2025, putting up career-best numbers in his senior season to earn All-Crossroads League Second Team. Enfield led the Knights in innings pitched and wins, carrying a 7-4 record with 64.2 innings of work. The senior also led the team in strikeouts with 68 and had a streak of six consecutive starts with a victory during the Crossroads League season. Enfield's 4.59 ERA was a career-best, and he fired a complete game in a win over Indiana Wesleyan in their meeting in late March.
Jace Stoops earned his first career All-Crossroads League honor, making the Second Team as one of the top relievers in the conference. Stoops carried a 1.73 ERA for the season, posting a 5-2 record in his 15 relief appearances. The senior also made three saves out of the pen in his 26.0 innings of work and struck out 25 batters. The reliever was not charged a run to his record in 11 of the 15 games he appeared in.
Marian finished the season fifth in the Crossroads League, going 24-28 overall on the season while holding an 18-18 record against the league.
