GREENWOOD, Ind. - On Tuesday, June 24, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) released their 2024-25 NAIA Academic All-District Team Selections for Track and Field and Cross Country. The Marian University men's and women's programs each earned the maximum five selections to the 2024-25 teams.
Eligible nominees for the CSC Academic All-America program must maintain a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average while having reached sophomore status academically, and must rank in the top-25 in their conference or region, based on TFRRS rankings at the time of nomination. The event can be a singular event, either indoor or outdoor, and must be based on an individual event.
Each institution is allowed up to five nominations per gender for cross country and track, with selected CSC Academic All-District recipients advancing to the ballot for CSC Academic All-America honors. Those awards will be voted on by members of CSC from around the nation and will be announced on July 15 and 16.
Marian's honorees on for the men's programs were
Armani Glass,
Olivier Lifrange,
Eric Materna,
Owen Pittman, and
Tristan Trevino. Each of the five played a role in Marian's 2025 NAIA Indoor National Championship, with Materna and Lifrange running on the championship 4x400m relay team, while Pittman and Trevino competed on the national champion DMR team.
Armani Glass was an All-American in the long jump at the indoor championships. Trevino, Pittman, and Materna each earned All-American honors during the Knights' fourth-place finish in the 2025 Outdoor National Championships, while Trevino was also a Cross Country All-American.
Each Knight excelled at both the conference and national level, and each of the five Knights has been selected to the Academic All-America ballot.
For the women,
Claire Lange,
Nina Marinkovic,
Hanna Reuter, Nhadyia Watson, and
Katie Woods were named to the All-District Team representing Marian University. Each woman participated at either the indoor or outdoor championships, with Woods, Reuter, and Marinkovic earning All-American honors during the 2024-25 seasons. Woods also earned All-American in Cross Country, finishing in the top-five in the 2024 National Championships.
Marinkovic, Reuter, and Woods were all selected to the Academic All-America ballot.
Marian joined Grace, Indiana Wesleyan, and Taylor with the maximum five selections among fellow Crossroads League schools.
