INDIANAPOLIS - With the Marian women's soccer team set to report to fall preseason camp on Monday, August 4, the program and head coach
Justin Sullivan have announced their full incoming class for the 2025 season. The Knights will bring in 13 new faces to their team in 2025, with 11 incoming freshmen and two transfers completing the recruiting class for the year.
"Our 2025 class of incoming players is a mix of exciting, savvy attackers, composed tidy midfielders, and ball playing, hard-nosed defenders," said Sullivan on his 2025 class. "The most exceptional part of this class, however, isn't the fact that they come from several different clubs, states, and backgrounds. It is the level of character associated to each of them individually. This is a class of real commitment and respect for the process of being a superb student-athlete. We've had a taste of real success at a national level over the course of the last nine years and have had various classes come in and impact our program at a high level. Our goal has always been to put together a string of championship-caliber classes of recruits, and we think the quality and depth of this class rates as one of the best. Time will tell."
Below is the 2025 Marian women's soccer recruiting class, organized by their uniform number assigned to each player by the coaching staff. Below each player is a quote and excerpt from Coach Sullivan.Â
Lily Wilson | #5 | Senior |Â M | 5'8" | McCordsville, Ind. | Central Michigan University | FC Pride
"We're lucky to have Lily join us in her final year of eligibility. Lily had a solid career both at Bellarmine University and more recently at Central Michigan University, and wanted to come home to finish her degree and be a part of something a bit different at Marian! Lily has already shown to be a strong, thoughtful defender who has already added a punch to our defensive unit after a semester, and we're excited to see how things translate for her into the Crossroads League and the NAIA!"
Reid Auten | #8 | Freshman | F | 5'9" | St. Peter's, Mo. | St. Dominic High School | Missouri Rush
"We first had the opportunity to have Reid to campus during a camp we hosted the summer going into her senior year of high school. Reid's technique and composure absolutely jumped off the page. She is a thoughtful attacking player that has been around the goals in most teams she's been in, including a Missouri Rush team that has been a part of long post season runs in their history together. We hope Reid can be a part of more long post season runs as a Knight!"
Kenzie Dodd | #16 | Freshman | M | 5'4" | Centennial, Colo. | Grandview High School | Real Colorado
"I had a chance to watch Kenzie play last summer while at a postseason event in St. Louis. The moment that caught my eye was late on in an important match, she dribbles into challenge after challenge, making it through them all before setting up a scoring chance for a teammate. After watching more film, and getting Kenzie to campus, it was a no brainer. She has the hard-nosed mentality we covet everywhere in the team. One of our goals for the fall is to be a team who has a surplus of edge. Kenzie has a surplus of edge."
Savannah Spangler | #17 | Freshman | M | 5'5" | Grosse Point Farms, Mich. | Grosse Point South High School | Liverpool IA
"Savannah is an exciting pick up for us in the 2025 class. She's bounced around the major clubs in Detroit area but settled in and starred at Liverpool in the ECNL. She is a savvy, technically gifted midfielder that is certainly someone who impacts winning on the teams she plays on! We're excited to see what she can do in a Knight jersey"Â
Rylee Goodman | #18 | Freshman | D | 5'6" | West Chester, Ohio | Lakota High School | Ohio Elite
"Rylee might be the most versatile player in the class. She's been asked to limit opponent's chances by playing centerback much of the time, but if needed, will go play in attack to add a goal scoring threat. Rylee will concentrate her time at the back for us, but if you have watched us over the last couple of years, we ask our centerbacks to play make on occasion. Rylee certainly fits the mold!"
Riley McKenna | #20 | Freshman | D | 5'4" | Maineville, Ohio | Mt. Notre Dame High School | Ohio Elite
"I first noticed Riley at an event in Florida in the winter of 2024. Her explosiveness jumped off the page, but once we got to know her to a greater extent, her character became her superlative. She, like Morgan and Rylee, comes to us from Ohio Elite, and like Rachel below, from Mt. Notre Dame HS. We're excited to add Riley to the program and see what she can do as a Marian Knight."
Sophia Lewis | #23 | Freshman | M | 5'5" | Greenwood, Ind. | Roncalli High School | FC Pride
"When she's able to get her momentum started, Soph may be the fastest player in the class. She will likely play as a wingback initially, but has the potential to slide into a forward spot or even a centerback in a pinch. Her ability to recover defensively is unquestioned, and her pace can be devastating in attack. Soph comes to us from Roncalli High School where she was coached by Marian legend Lacey Hersmann." Â
Elizabeth Fischer | #25 | Freshman | M | 5'4" | Brownsburg, Ind. | Brownsburg High School | FC Pride
"Lizzo may be the tidiest technical player in this class, which is saying something knowing the talent here. Liz played in the club scene for me during the last cycle, and I could put her in various roles when I knew a bit of composure and ball retention was needed. She won't wow you at first glance, but over time, she will show she's a player every quality team needs. Liz is also planning to run track at Marian!"Â
Allie Tredway | #26 | Freshman | F | 5'1" | O' Fallon, Ill. | O' Fallon High School | St. Louis Scott Gallagher
"Allie comes to us off the back of another Illinios state championship with O'Fallon HS, where she again scored the championship winning goal! Don't let her size fool you, Allie is an explosive attacking player who has an eye for chance creation and goal scoring. Her St. Louis Scott Gallagher ECNL teammates can vouch for that! We're pumped to have Allie join our squad, and we look forward to see her reach her goals with us."
Morgan Manford | #29 | Freshman | M | 5'7" | Milan, Ind. | Lawrenceburg High School | Ohio Elite
"Here comes a recent Indiana State Champion! Morgan comes to us from Lawrenceburg HS where she was an All-State performer, and most recently from Ohio Elite ECNL. She has played in multiple roles during her time at both stops. Morgan will also be taking her talents to the track and field team at Marian, but first we're excited to see that athleticism on display for us at St. Vincent Field this fall!"
Jasmine Kalu | #30 | Freshman | F | 5'8" | Orlando, Fla. | Lake Nona High School | Florida Kraze Krush
"Jasmine is a bit late to the high-level club soccer scene, having only spent one year at ECNL level with Florida Kraze Krush, but we're lucky to have her add some electricity to our attack in 2025 and beyond. Her explosiveness over short distances jumps off the page, and with the right commitment to her craft during her time at Marian, she could develop into a top tier attacking talent. She's the type of player that makes you sit on the edge of your seat when she gets the ball because you know something fun is about to happen!"
Rachel Gellner | #31 | Freshman | D | 5'7" | Liberty Township, Ohio | Mt. Notre Dame High School | Kings Hammer SC
"Rachel is one willing to put in the grind! She's certainly doing that this summer in preparation for the fall! Rachel comes to us from Mt. Notre Dame HS in Cincinnati and Kings Hammer. Even though it was a of a last-minute addition to the class, we're lucky to have someone as versatile a player AND one of such high character. Rachel will help us out through the spine either as a holding midfielder or as a centerback. Either way, she will help us facilitate the tempo of our team."
Taylor Wert | #36 | Sophmore | M | 5'7" | Bargersville, Ind. | Mercer University | FC Pride
"We're excited to have Taylor on board for at Marian for the next three years. Taylor transfers in from Mercer University and had a fantastic prep career at Center Grove High School and FC Pride, garnering postseason accolades in both settings.

Taylor is a savvy playmaker who has an eye for the key pass that will help us create chances and score goals! She was a former All-State performer at Center Grove and a former All-Ohio Valley Conference selection in the ECNL."Â
Marian reports for their 2025 season on August 4, with their first preseason match to be played at Ascension St. Vincent Field on August 9.Â
