Marian Women's Basketball Announces 2025 Incoming Class

INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian women's basketball team enters its second year under head coach Suntana Anderson in 2025, and ahead of the upcoming year, the Knights' head coach has announced the team's incoming freshmen class. Marian has four members in their incoming class, and is looking to build off of last year's successful 27-8 season and NAIA Quarterfinals appearance. Marian was the Crossroads League Tournament Runner-Up last season, and finished third in the league standings. 

"We have brought in a very talented freshmen class," said head coach Suntana Anderson. "The incoming class will be a great complement to our experience, helping boost our returning players' game. I am very excited for what our team has in store for the fans in 2025-26, and am looking forward to restarting our journey in September."

What are you looking forward to at MU: "I'm most excited to be a student-athlete because it will allow me the opportunity to represent Marian. Also, who wouldn't want to be coached by THE Suntana Anderson!"

Why Marian: I felt at home when I came for my overnight visit, and the team really included me to help me fit in. The campus is also not that far from home, and it gives me a great sense of community.
What are you looking forward to at MU: "I'm looking forward to being a student-athlete at Marian, while being part of a campus community and team that knows how to have fun!"

Marian's 2024-25 schedule will be released in the coming days. Marian will play a full 28-game regular season schedule, which will begin on November 1.
