Kenosha, Wis. - The Marian men's cross country team returned to action on Saturday morning, racing in the Wisconsin-Parkside Lucian Rosa Invite. Marian's efforts resulted in an 11th place finish, with Tristan Trevino leading the individual efforts.
The Knights scored an 11th-place finish Saturday, averaging a 26:10 time in the 8K championship race. Marian's total team time was 2:10.53, and each of the top-seven runners for the team finished 128th or better in scoring placement. Marian also competed in the open 8K race, finishing fifth of eight teams. Marian's reserves had a team time of 2:23.11, and were led by
Rick Williams' 28:04.1 time.

The Knights will next compete in a split-squad effort, with one unit running at the Ray Bullock Invite hosted by Taylor on October 10, with the other running at the Alabama-Huntsville Invite on October 11.
