Skylar Thomas Leads Knights in Runner-Up Placement at CL 3

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Marian women's bowling team finished off their Crossroad League portion of the season today as they hosted the Crossroads League Meet Three. The Knights finished as the runner-up to Spring Arbor.

Marian finished with a total of 2805 after the three individual games, while they totaled 4941 after Baker play. Spring Arbor came in first with a total of 5180 after Baker's play. Goshen rounded out the top three with 4863 points. Indiana Wesleyan and Huntington finished and fourth and fifth, while Mount Vernon, Grace, and Bethel wrapped up the placements. 

Delaney Rossette was the top bowler for varsity, placing 6th overall with a total of 597. Rossette recorded a game high of 245 in game two. Jaymie Clere was the next to finish, placing ninth overall with a total of 568. Clere bowled a game high of 206 in game one. Paige Richards was the next to finish for the Knights, finishing 11th with a total of 563 and a game high of 193 in both games one and three. Mariana Hunt finished close behind with a 16th-place finish, recording 540 with a game high of 227. Abigail Dwyer finished in 19th place with 537 points while bowling a high of 191 in game three. 

In JV play, Marian's JV1 team came in second with 4592 points overall, while JV2 finished in fourth with 3996. Skylar Thomas was the top bowler for the Knights, finishing first overall with 625 points. Thomas bowled her top game in game one with 230 points. Nadiah Rittenhouse finished in 33rd overall and was the top bowler for JV2 with 487 points overall, and recorded a game high of 188 in game one.

Marian will be back in action next weekend as they host the Hoosier Classic on February 14th & 15th.
