Fort Wayne, Ind. - The Marian competitive cheerleading team ended its 2026 NAIA season on Saturday morning, finishing sixth in the annual Crossroads League Championship. Taylor pulled the stunning upset over defending champion Indiana Wesleyan for the championship.

In Friday's prelim, Marian scored a 72.65, good for sixth in the seven team field at the league championship. Marian improved its score on Saturday morning in the final round, and finished sixth overall after scoring a total of 75.25. Taylor won the championship by .39 points over Indiana Wesleyan, while Spring Arbor finished third. 

Marian will finish the 2026 season in April, as they are scheduled to compete at the NCA Nationals.
