Marian Women's Track & Field Finish Sixth in NAIA Outdoor Nationals

Asheville, N.C. - The Marian women's track and field team closed out their season at the NAIA Outdoor National Championships. The Knights took home sixth place overall with 27 points scored throughout the week. On the final day of competition, the Knights recorded five All-American honors.

Gabi Bilbrey opened up the day for Marian, finishing 18th in discus with a mark of 38.02m. Brooke Coffman finished off the action in the field, competing in the high jump. The 4x100m relay opened up action on the track with the team of Catalla Jones, Kyla Bradberry, Kathy Soriano, and Jovana Milosevic finishing eighth with a time of 46.40 to earn All-American honors. Katie Woods and Gracynn Hinkley continued action in the 1500m, both earning All-American honors, and Hinkley ran a new PR of 4:33.99, finishing eighth, and Woods led the way, finishing in second with a time of 4:24.04. 

After a long break between events that the Knights were in, Bradberry competed in the final individual race of the day on the women's side. Bradberry finished fourth overall in the 200m, earning All-American honors with her time of 24.11. The 4x400m relay closed out the championship as the team of Hanna Reuter, Claire Lange, Milosevic, and Emma Edwards clocked a 3:43.83, finishing third overall and earning All-American honors. 

Marian closes out the season recording multiple new school records and six All-American honors.
