Khori Dryden was named the first Crossroads League Women's Volleyball Attacker of the Week of the season, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
The Indianapolis native racked up 36 kills in a 4-0 weekend for the Knights across 11 sets with an impressive .352 hitting percentage on the weekend.
Dryden started off the season with a 16-kill, 10-dig double-double in the four-set win over host Olivet Nazarene on Friday. She then added 20 more kills across the three-set sweep wins over Rochester Christian, Freed-Hardeman and Lindsey Wilson.
Marian heads to Fort Wayne, Ind. this upcoming weekend for the Onset Invitational hosted by the University of Saint Francis, starting with a showdown with 11th-ranked Missouri Baptist on Friday at 12:15 p.m.
