Friday morning, racing continued at the Major Taylor Velodrome, picking up where the Knights left off Thursday night with the final sprint of the best-of-three gold medal rounds in the men's and women's Sprint tournaments.
 
In the men's final, Jackson Clary took the win over Marian teammate Joshua Trerise to claim the national title. Marian swept the entire five-deep podium in the men's Sprint tournament. Behind Clary and Trerise, Javon Ramroop finished third, Jordan Callum placed fourth and James Halverson rounded out the Marian sweep in fifth.

On the women's side, Rita Fedewa of Belmont Abbey took the final sprint over Colorado Mesa's Ella Sabo. The Knights put two riders on the women's Sprint podium, with Mairen Lawson finishing third and Breanna Winter taking fourth.
 
Following the Sprint tournament, the Men's 4km Individual Pursuit (12 laps) took over the track, where Marian's Fred Meredith claimed the gold medal with a time of 4:37.170. Meredith finished three seconds ahead of teammate David Kosela, who earned the silver medal in 4:40.940, giving Marian a one-two finish in the event.
 
The Knights also placed five more riders in the top 15. Jackson Clary finished ninth, Jonah Hover 11th, Shaurya Sheoran 13th, Braxton Boyer 14th, and James Halverson finished 15th. Wil Mathwin placed 22nd.
 
The Women's Kilo Time Trial (3 laps) followed, with Marian again earning multiple podium finishes. Mairen Lawson finished second with a time of 1:14.279. Claire Kudlata also earned a podium finish, taking fifth. Breanna Winter finished ninth, followed by Hannah Paine in 10th and Anna Zyromski in 11th. Alex Hill finished 15th, Sierra Samhammer placed 16th and Emma Cavner finished 17th.
 
Friday evening brought the Points Races, starting with the men's 30km race. Marian was represented by Fred Meredith, David Kosela, Jackson Clary, and Shaurya Sheoran.
 
Meredith put together a dominant performance throughout the 90-lap race, lapping the field twice and consistently scoring points in the intermediate sprints. He finished with 108 points to take 1st place and his second national championship title of the day. Kosela and Clary joined him on the podium finishing 4th and 5th. Sheoran finished 13th. 
 
The women followed with their 20km, 60-lap Points Race. Marian's riders were Mairen Lawson, Anna Zyromski, Claire Kudlata, and Hannah Paine.
 
Lawson was aggressive from the gun, attacking early and staying away from the field for several laps before being brought back by the Colorado Mesa women. She continued to be a strong presence throughout the race, scoring points in the intermediate sprints and ultimately finishing 2nd with 41 points, just two points behind winner Ella Sabo of Colorado Mesa University. Zyromski earned her highest-ever finish at Nationals, taking 6th. Kudlata and Paine were also active throughout the race, helping bring back opponents and close down splits when other riders attacked. Kudlata finished 9^th and Paine 10^th.
 
The Points Races added another national championship title and medals to Marian's results, with one more day of racing remaining at the Major Taylor Velodrome tomorrow.
