JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League Athletes of the Week were announced on Monday, recognizing the league's top individual performances from December 9 through 15. Sports Information Directors from the league institutions nominate student-athletes for the awards and vote on each week's winners.
After
Jeremiah Brown's second place finish in the 60m and
Gunner Kovach second place finish in the High Jump at the Indiana University Early Bird, the Crossroads League announced Brown has been named the Crossroads League Indoor Track Athlete of the Week and Kovach has been named the Indoor Field Athlete of the week.
Gunner Kovach posted a runner-up mark of 2.00 to tie with teammate
Victor Dailey in the High Jump.
Jeremiah Brown posted a runner-up time of 6.28 in the 60m to hit a NAIA B Standard in the race.
The Knights will be back in action after the holiday break as they travel to University of Indianapolis to compete in the Gerry England Invite on January 17th.
