Grand Junction, Colo. - Less than a month after winning the USA Cycling Collegiate Track Championship, the Marian cycling program is back competing on the national stage at the 2025 Mountain Bike National Championships. Racing begins on Thursday, October 9, and racing is scheduled to finish on Sunday. Weather including a massive rain cell moving in from the pacific hurricane has caused changes to the racing schedule.
Action begins on Thursday with short track cross country, cross country, and the team relay. The downhill championship will be held on Friday, and on Sunday the dual slalom championship will conclude the 2025 National Championship.Â
Marian won their conference this year, and is looking to improve off their fourth place finish from the 2024 Championship. Marian won their 54th USA Cycling National Championship last month with their track championship, and will be seeking their 55th championship this week. Marian's
Breanna Winter is the defending champion in the dual slalom and downhill races.Â
