WEST MONROE, La. - The Marian cycling team rode to glory at the 2026 BMX National Championship over the weekend, as the team won another USA Cycling BMX Cajun National Championship, claiming the team omnium for the second consecutive year.
On day one of the championship, both the men and women earned victories, giving the team a leg up on the competition heading into the second day of racing.Â
On the final day, the women earned a team victory while the men finished second as a team, giving Marian three of four wins overall for the two days. Marian's efforts secured the team omnium title, putting them on the top of the podium.Â
Individually for Marian in their championship race,
Breanna Winter earned the women's individual omnium title. Winter was joined on the podium by teammates
Piper Yockelson and Sierra Samhammer, who finished third and fifth, respectively.
For the men, the Knights placed three riders on the podium, with
Jordan Callum leading the way

with his runner-up finish.
Cameron Wing was the third-place rider at the championship, and Joshua Trerise finished fourth.Â
Marian's championship did not calculate toward the season-long omnium, as the Knights remain in second place overall this season entering the road race season. Road nationals will conclude the 2025-26 season in the second week of May.Â
