INDIANAPOLIS - On Tuesday morning, the Marian softball program announced its final signing prior to the turn of the year for their 2026 class, as head coach
Scott Fleming announced the signing of Emmy Miller.
Emmy Miller comes to the Knights from the state's foothills, as she is a product of Floyd Central High School, where she pitches for the Highlanders softball program. As a junior, Miller carried a record of 18-1 while holding an ERA of 1.43, pitching 134 strikeouts in just over 100 innings on the season. During her junior season, Miller set Floyd Central's program record for strikeouts, eclipsing 400 in her career as she will enter her senior year in 2026 with 422 punchouts.
She was named the Floyd Central Gold Standard award winner in 2023, the Golden Arm in 2024, and was named All-Conference while leading class 4A in Indiana in wins with 23. In addition to her play with the Highlanders, Miller plays travel softball for the Fusion-Gibson Travel Team.
A high-academic student with AP Honors, Emmy Miller is in the Floyd Central National Honors Society, and will major in exercise science at Marian.
