INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian men's track and field team competed in their final meet before the indoor postseason begins, as the Knights took part in the Fairgrounds Invite, hosted at the Fall Creek Pavilion.
Marian had strong marks in their final tune up for the postseason, getting a pair of NAIA qualifications in the mile as both
Tristan Trevino and
Charles Leedke posted an A standard time in the event. Trevino won the mile race, while Leedke finished fourth.
Will Osafo posted the top time in the 60m preliminaries before false starting in the finals, and
Richard Dube returned from a two-week absence with a B standard time in his win in the 600m.Â
Andrew McDade posted a runner-up time in the 800m, and
Jonathon Phillips recorded a third place effort time in the 200m to highlight Marian's top-three placers on Saturday.
