INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian cycling team is gearing up for their fourth USA Cycling National Championship event of the 2024-25 season, as the Knights on Bikes embark to West Monroe, Louisana for the Cajun Nationals. Marian is the defending USA Cycling Collegiate Champions in BMX, and will be back to defend their title.
The racing for the 2025 USA Cycling Championships in BMX begins on March 22, with the Knights making the trek to Louisiana on March 19. Marian is the defending champion from 2024, and boasts the reigning defending champion in the men's omnium on their roster for 2025 in
Cameron Wing.Â
The Knights aim to win their 53rd cycling championship this weekend, hoping to carry momentum into the final leg of the 2024-25 season in road racing. The Knights won the track championship back in the fall, and finished fourth in both mountain bike and cyclocross. The 2025 BMX championships will not count toward the season-long omnium, where Marian trails Colorado Mesa 226-204 for the overall lead.
