INDIANAPOLIS - For the third time this decade, the Major Taylor Velodrome and the Marian cycling program are excited to host the USA Cycling Collegiate Track National Championships. The upcoming championships will be held September 11 through 14 at the Indy Cycloplex.
Marian is the two-time defending champion of the USA Collegiate Track National Championship, having won each of the last two titles in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Marian last hosted the collegiate championship in 2021 and 2022, and previously hosted prior to two-year stretch in 2016 and 2017.Â
The event will be tied in to Marian's own Family Weekend celebration, with the Friday night racing being one of the focal points of the event on campus.Â
Racing begins on Thursday, September 11, with wave one of racing starting at 9:00 a.m. The second session will begin at 6:00 p.m., with the schedule repeating on both Friday and Saturday. The USA Cycling Collegiate and Club National Champions will be crowned on Saturday night following the conclusion of the Co-Ed Team Sprint.Â
Marian will be the favorite entering the 2025 race weekend. A full roster announcement will be made by the Knights on Bikes early next week.Â
