Marion, Ind. - The Marian women's track and field team opened up the NAIA Outdoor National Championships today with two relay appearances and an appearance in the 1500m.
Armoney Clay,
Jovana Milosevic,
Hanna Reuter, and
Kathy Soriano all opened up the day for the women in the 4x100m running a 47.79 to place in 21st place overall.
Katie Woods was the next to be in action for the Knights competing in thw 1500m prelims. Woods placed third overall and advance to the finals tomorrow with a time of 4:36.40.
Adrianna Boyd,
Gracie Fields,
Nora Steele, and Woods closed out the day in the 4x800m relay placing in third in prelims and advancing to the finals tomorrow with a time of 9:13.51.
The Knights will be back in action tomorrow with Ozofu Magiji opening action in the field at 1pm in the shot put and
Nina Marinkovic opening action on the track in the 100m hurdles.
