JACKSON, Mich. - For the third consecutive week, Marian women's track and field senior
Katie Woods has been crowned as the Crossroads League's Track Athlete of the Week.
Woods was a machine in the Music City, breaking her own school records in the mile and 800m at Vanderbilt as she earned two NAIA A standards while competing against NCAA DI athletes. On Friday night, Woods finished fourth in the mile with a time of 4:42.7, setting a new school record as she broke her previous personal best by nearly five seconds. Her efforts in the mile race to set the nation's fastest time this season. On Saturday in the 800m, she broke her school record with the NAIA's second-fastest time of the season, clocking a 2:09.4.

Marian's sights are now set toward bringing home a Crossroads League Championship for a fifth consecutive year, as they will run at the league meet on Friday and Saturday. The 2026 Crossroads League Championship is hosted at Indiana Wesleyan.
