INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian softball team has announced multiple schedule changes for the upcoming week, as weather and field conditions have altered the Knights' two home doubleheaders scheduled for this week.

The twin bill that was scheduled for Wednesday, February 25, against Saint Mary of the Woods College has been canceled, and a makeup date has yet to be determined. The games are canceled due to Marian's field still thawing from this past weekend's freezing temperatures and snow. The games against Saint Mary of the Woods will be made up on Wednesday, March 18, with a 3:00 p.m. start time for game one. 

Additionally, Marian has also postponed their doubleheader against St. Xavier that was scheduled for Thursday, February 26, to this Friday, February 27. The games are moved due to the forecasted weather on Thursday. The start times for Friday's twin bill against the Cougars will be at 1:00 p.m. from the Marian softball diamond. Both games will be broadcast on the MUKnightsTV YouTube channel.

Friday's games will be the first of the season for the Knights, before they play nine regular season and one exhibition contest next week on the team's spring break trip in Florida.
