NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. – The IWLCA has chosen nine student-athletes for the IWLCA Player of the Week awards for the week ending March 29, 2026. This weekly award recognizes the best offensive and defensive performances by players in Division I, II, III, and the NAIA each week during the regular season. Marian's Olivia Dean was selected as this week's NAIA Defensive Player of the Week, as she helped lead the Knights to a 2-0 week.

Olivia Dean – Marian University
Dean led Marian in both ground balls and caused turnovers across two games, highlighted by the program's first-ever overtime win over Lawrence Tech in a Top 10 NAIA matchup. She totaled five ground balls and four caused turnovers, playing a key role in the defensive effort.

Marian next plays on Wednesday, April 1, hosting Bethel University at 5:00 p.m.
