Watson Leads Knights in 2nd Place Finish at Little States

Marion, Ind. - The Marian women's track and field team finished in second in the Indiana Little State Championships with 122.50 points. At the meet, the Knights recorded one NAIA Standard and one New School Record. 

On the track, Hana Reuter led the way, finishing first in the 400m with a time of 57.88. Lainey Roth also led the way in the 10k, finishing third overall. Nhaydia Watson led the way in the field, throwing an NAIA B Standard in the Hammer and setting a new school record of 53.45m.

The Knights will be back in action next weekend as they travel to the University of Louisville with action starting on Thursday, April 23rd, and wrapping up on Saturday, April 25th.
