Jackson, Mich. - For the sixth different time this school year, Katie Woods of the Marian track and field team has been named the Crossroads League Athlete of the Week. Woods' honor on Monday is her first as the Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week, adding to her four Indoor Track Athlete and one Cross Country Athlete of the Week.

Woods had a historic weekend in California, setting the NAIA's No. 1 time in the 1500m with her 4:21.45 PR, while hitting a 2:08.83 in the 800m, boasting the No. 3 time in the nation. Woods set a five second PR in the 1500m, and a two second PR in the 800m at the Bryan Clay Invite, the fastest meet in the world.

Marian will finish out the regular season this weekend, running at Louisville's Clark Woods Open.
