NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. – The IWLCA has chosen 11 student-athletes for the IWLCA Player of the Week awards for the week ending April 19, 2026. This weekly award recognizes the best offensive and defensive performances by players in Division I, II, III, and the NAIA each week during the regular season. For the second time this season, Marian has been featured by the IWLCA, as Ella Grace Giedd earned the NAIA Offensive Player of the Week, and Olivia Dean earned the Defensive Player of the Week.

Giedd recorded seven points on three goals and four assists in Marian's big win over No. 10 Lawrence Tech, helping secure at least a share of the WHAC regular season title.

Dean recorded seven caused turnovers and one ground ball against No. 10 Lawrence Tech in her efforts to lead Marian to at least a share of the WHAC regular season title. This is Dean's second IWLCA Player of the Week accolade this season.

Marian ends its regular season on Saturday morning at Bethel University.
