CL Champion Knights Earn Four All-Crossroads League Honors

JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League announced its 2026 Women's Tennis All-League Team and Coach-of-the-Year honors on Wednesday, following Marian's sweep of the CL's regular season and tournament titles. Marian earned three individual player honors, and head coach Tyler Scanlan was named as the 2026 Crossroads League Coach of the Year. 

The Knights secured three of the 15 spots on the All-Crossroads League Team and saw head coach Tyler Scanlan named the CL Coach of the Year. Grace's Jimena Ramirez claimed the other top award, being selected as the CL Player of the Year.

Representing Marian on the All-CL Team is Yasmin Imamniyazova, Michelle Irigoyen, and Ana Lopez Torres. The honors are the third in the careers of Imamniyazova and Irigoyen, and second in Torres' career. Yasmin Imamniyazova turned in a singles record of 11-7 overall this season, going 6-5 in doubles play with Ana Lopez Torres. Torres is 7-5 in doubles this season playing one match with Emma Chrome, and in singles, the sophomore has a record of 12-3. Michelle Irigoyen is 10-6 in singles on the season, and in doubles she is 12-8. 

The All-Crossroads League Team was voted on by the CL's head women's tennis coaches.

Marian will play in the NAIA Tournament on Tuesday, May 12, taking on William Woods in their first match of the event.
