Box Score Warsaw, Ind. - The Marian women's tennis team continue Crossroads League action with a 6-1 win on the road over Grace. After the win the Knights move to 10-6 overall on the year and 7-0 in the Crossroads League. 

Grace got out to a head start with a 6-2 win over Yasmin Imamniyazova and Ana Lopez at No. 1 doubles but, Michelle Irigoyen and Jimena Rivera Flores were quickly able to counter with a 6-2 win for themselves at No. 2. Following the No. 2 win Liliane Alinquant and Ana Barbosa Fernandez were able to clinch the doubles point with a 6-2 win over the Lancers at No. 3. 

With the Knights in the lead 1-0, Rivera Flores quickly added to the margin with a pair of 6-1 wins at No. 4 singles. Irigoyen was able to follow up with a 6-0 and 6-1 win at No. 3 while Lopez Torres followed suit with a pair of 6-2 wins at No. 2. With the 4-0 lead Grace was able to fight back with a 2-6, 6-4, 1-0(5) win over Imamniyazova at No. 1 but Alinquant shut down the push countering with a 6-1 and 6-2 win at No. 5. Paloma Caceres Villalba finished off the match with a 7-5 and 6-1 win at No. 6 singles taking the 6-1 win for the Knights.

Marian will be back in action on Saturday as they travel to Marion, Ind. to take on the Wildcats starting at 11 am.
