JACKSON, Mich. - After helping the Knights capture the program's third Crossroads League Championship in four years, senior
Keara Eder has been named the Crossroads League Women's Golfer of the Week. Eder's honor is her second and the team's fourth of the year, and comes after she earned the individual medalist honor in the CL Championship.
Eder began her medalist tournament with a 79 in the first round, then shifted into a new gear, resetting the scorecard with a 73 in the second round. Ending the first day of the tournament in third place, Eder shot up the leaderboard on the final day, firing six birdies in the third round to turn in a tournament-best 68, capping a 220 score in the event. Eder won the medalist honor by six strokes, becoming the third Knight in the last four seasons to win the league individual championship.
Keara Eder's efforts helped Marian log the team championship, solidifying Marian's position in the NAIA Championship field.Â
