Gina Butz and Nhaydia Watson Hit A Standards as Women's Track and Field Completes Opening Weekend

Indianapolis, Ind. - The Marian women's track and field team opened their 2024-25 indoor track and field season at the UIndy Scott Fangman Invitational, earning two standards as they began their season.

Gina Butz hit A standard in the High Jump and claimed a first place finish with a mark of 1.74m. Nhaydia Watson claimed an A standard in the weight throw to claim a second place finish with a mark of 17.38.

The Knights will be back in action next weekend as they travel to Indiana University to compete in the Indiana Early Bird on Friday, December 13th.
