INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian women's track and field team continued with their first weekend of 2025 on Saturday, competing at the Indianapolis State Fairgrounds Hoosier Horsepower Classic. The Knights had strong results as they continue to ramp up with their first competitions of the new year, seeing a pair of NAIA A Standards on the day.
Katie Woods had the top effort for the Knights on the day, setting her fifth career indoor record and second of the season with her third place finish in the 800m. Woods finished behind a runner from Ohio State and Illinois with her time of 2:11.47, breaking the previous school record set by Ann Kuntz in 2016 as she hit the automatic qualifying time.
