JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League Athletes of the Week were announced on Monday, recognizing the league's top individual performances from October 6 through 12. Sports Information Directors from the league institutions nominate student-athletes for the awards and vote on each week's winners.
Coming off of her second win of the season
Paige Richards is named the Crossroads League Bowler of the Week for the second week in a row. Richards took 11th place overall at the Western Shootout, posting a score of 1,195 pins with a scoring average of 199.2 pins per game for the Knights.
Jacob Neubauer earns his first Crossroads League Bowler of the week for the first time in his career. Neubauer averaged 231 pins per game and totaled 1,386 to help Marian win the Western Shootout. Newbauer's performance led to a fourth place finish on the individual leaderboard.
The Knights next compete in Georgia on November 1 and 2 at the Bowlero Southern Tournament.
