Marietta, Ga. - The Marian women's bowling team recorded another top-10 finish for the 2025-26 season with an eighth-place finish at the Bowlero Southern Collegiate Classic.
Mary Brooks led the team with a 17th-place finish, knocking down 922 pins in total, recording a game high of 220 in game two.
Paige Richards finished right after Brooks, knocking down 922 pins as well with a game high of 213 in game two.
Phoenix Newkirk was the next to finish for Marian bowling in three games, knocking down 504 pins with a game high in game five of 172.
Abigail Dwyer also bowled in three games, finishing in 68th place, knocking down 500 pins and recording a game high of 214 in game three. Also bowling in three games,
Avery Hunt finished in 70th with 492 pins knocked down and a game high of 175 in game one. Alexis Jones was the final Knight to bowl in three games, finishing in 71st with a total score of 491 and a game high of 183 in game three.
Dolores Bauerle bowled in a pair of games, recording a total of 328 and a game high of 181 in game one.
Delaney Rossette was the final Knight to finish recording a placement of 97th bowling in one game, recording a total of 127.Â
Marian will be back in action this weekend as they travel to Beavercreek, Ohio, to compete in the Raider Classic hosted by Wright State.Â
