Ypsilanti, Mich. - The Marian women's golf team held their ground at the NAIA National Championship for the third consecutive round on Thursday, keeping their second place on the team leader board at Eagle Crest GC. Marian ended the third round tied for second, while Emma Weiler remains in the top five individually. 

The course played tough on moving day, with only one-third of the field dropping their overall round score following the cut on Wednesday. Marian scored 11-over par as a team on Thursday, carding their second sub-300 score with a 299. Keiser caught Marian on Thursday's round, dropping their score by three to catch the Knights and tie for second overall. Marian and Keiser each ended Thursday with an overall score of 896, while British Columbia remained in first place with their score of 881.

Emma Weiler scored a 75 on Thursday, posting her first over-par round of the tournament as her total score moved to 218 for the week. Weiler made par on the first 11 holes of her round, bogeying three times on the back nine in total. Weiler enters the final round fourth individually. 

Jordan Adam had the best day for the Knights, shooting a 73 in the round. Adam made a pair of birdies and finished the back nine even, moving her total score to 225. Adam is 15th individually following play on Thursday. MacKendzie Dresbaugh ended Thursday with a total of 226, good for 19th overall. Dresbaugh scored a 75 in her Thursday round, joining Weiler at three-over for the day.

Maria Kennard put in the final score toward Marian's team effort on Thursday, carding a 76. Kennard holds a total of 232 on the week, and is in 38th overall individually. Keara Eder rounded out the order for Marian, ending the round with a total of 233. Eder scored a 78 in the third round, and is 44th overall on the individual board. 

Marian will tee off their final round of the tournament at 9:10 a.m., with the Knights lead Keara Eder taking the honors on the first tee box. Emma Weiler will finish her final round at 9:50 a.m., with Jordan Adam, MacKendzie Dresbaugh, and Maria Kennard proceeding the sophomore.
