INDIANAPOLIS - Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) women's lacrosse head coaches have voted defending co-regular season champion Indiana Tech as the preseason favorite for the quickly approaching 2025-26 season. The Knights came in third in the annual pre-season poll.

The Knights were picked third in the league's annual preseason poll, voted on by the coaches. Marian received a score of 25 points, six behind Lawrence Tech, which was picked second with a pair of first-place votes. The Knights were the third member of the three-way tie for the regular season title in 2025 and finished with a 10-5 overall record and 6-1 mark in the conference. The Knights return WHAC Newcomer and Defensive Player of the Year, Olivia Dean, as well as first team All-WHAC members in Ruby Mason, Alex Dean, and Ella Grace Giedd.  Indiana Tech was picked first in the league poll, scoring 34 points and four first-place nods. Bethel followed the Knights in fourth, while Madonna and Aquinas were picked fifth and sixth. 

The WHAC will feature six lacrosse programs this season, as Rochester Christian recently announced they will not be fielding a team this season, while Siena Heights canceled its program. The season begins mid-February with conference action kicking-off on March 11th.
