Box Score Hilton Head, S.C. - The Marian Men's Tennis team fell to (RV) Coastal Georgia on Wednesday afternoon. After the loss, Marian moves to 7-4 overall in the early season. 

Marian opened up doubles action with James Asworth and Mateo Guerin putting up a fight at court No.1, but fell 6-3 against the Mariners. At court No. 2, Marc Soriano and Iyan Cresens fell 6-3, allowing Coastal Georgia to take the doubles point. Jan Bartolome and Marcos Ramos Cabrera went unfinished at No.3, trailing 5-3. 

In singles action, Coastal Georgia took off early with a pair of 6-0 wins at No. 1 over Ashworth. Bogdan Precupescu was the next to finish, falling with a pair of 6-4 losses at court No. 5. Coastal Georgia took the 4-0 win with Kirmayr's 2-6, 6-3, 1-0 (3) win over Bartolome. Three matches went unfinished with Guerin leading No. 2 (6-0, 4-4), Soriano leading at No. 3 (6-4, 4-5), and Ramos Cabrera trailing (4-6, 3-3) at No. 4. 

Marian will be back in action Friday as they travel to Savannah, Georgia, to take on #10 SCAD-Savannah.
