JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League Athletes of the Week were announced on Monday, recognizing the league's top individual performances from April 20 through 26. Sports Information Directors from the league institutions nominate student-athletes for the awards and vote on each week's winners.

After her outstanding performance over the weekend, Emma Edwards was named the Crossroads League Track Athlete of the Week. Edwards hit auto-qualifying marks in the 400 and 4x400-relay for Marian, breaking her own MU record in the 400m with a time of 54.91 and helping the Knights to a time of 3:47.40 in the 4x400m.

The Knights are back in action this weekend as they travel up to Marion, Ind. to compete in the Crossroads League Championships with action starting on Thursday and wrapping up on Friday.
