INDIANAPOLIS, IND. - Coming off of their second consecutive appearance in the NAIA National Championships for both the men's and women's squads, the Marian cross country teams have announced their 2026 schedule. 

The men's team is coming off a fifth-place finish in the Crossroads League Championships and a 15th-place finish in the NAIA National Championships, as well as the USTFCCCA Jack Hazen Men's Program of the Year Runner-Up. The men's team also finished #21 in the NAIA Coaches Poll to close out last season. The women's team is coming into this season after finishing third at the Crossroads League Championships and sixth at the NAIA National Championships. The team's placement helped the Knights finish as the USTFCCCA Fred Beile Women's Program of the Year and finish the 2025 season with a #10 ranking in the NAIA Coaches Poll. 

Marian will open the season at the Mastodon Alumni Open on September 5th, hosted by Purdue Fort Wayne in Fort Wayne, Ind. The Crossroads League Championship will be held at Taylor University on Friday, November 5th, and is in hopes of returning to the NAIA Cross Country National Championships for the third season in a row, hosted at Fort Vancouver in Vancouver, Washington.
