INDIANAPOLIS - Following Marian's undefeated week that culminated in the program's first-ever WHAC Championship, the women's lacrosse program earned the league's Defensive Player of the Week award, with
Katherine Hirsch earning the honor.
Hirsch made 17 saves on the week, going 2-0 in goal to help seal a co-championship for Marian. The keeper made eight saves against No. 7 Indiana Tech, while shutting out the Saints of Siena Heights over the final three quarters in their Saturday win.
