Gainesville, Fla. - For the first time in school history, the Marian Men's Track and Field Team was crowned back-to-back NAIA Indoor National Champions. The Knights scored a total of 66 points while claiming three individual NAIA National Championship titles on the third day.

Behind the Knights' 66 points, the University of the Cumberlands finished second with 52 points, and Indiana Tech came in third with 42.5 points. William Carey finished in fourth, followed by Voorhees in fifth. Indiana Wesleyan, Cornerstone, Montreat, Madonna, and Park University rounded out the top 10. 

Tristan Trevino opened up the day by being crowned NAIA National Champion in the 1-mile with a time of 4:04.25. Marian continued their outstanding day with Eric Materna finishing fifth with a time of 1:18.19 in the 600m to earn NAIA All-American Honors. Next up on the track was Will Osafo, finishing sixth in the 60m with a time of 6.74 to earn All-American Honors.  

In the field, Javian Jones competed in the sole men's field event of the day in the Shot Put. Back on the track, Charles Leedke earned individual All-American Honors with a time of 1:51.17 in the 800m to finish third. Continuing individual action, Ben Moster finished 18th in the 3000m with a time of 8:37.15. 

With a one-point deficit between the Cumberlands and Marian for the NAIA National Championship team win going into the relays, the Knights answered the push with a big finish in the men's DMR. The team of Charlie Leedke, Dexter Parker, Mason Piatt, and Tristan Trevino was crowned the NAIA DMR National Champion with a time of 9:54.46. The 4x400m relay wrapped up the day with another individual championship, running a 3:10.24. The team of Eli Givens, AJ Kelly, Tre Jones, and Eric Materna was named the NAIA 4x400m relay National Champions for the second straight year.
