JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League Athletes of the Week were announced on Monday, recognizing the league's top individual performances from March 2 through March 8. Sports Information Directors from the league institutions nominate student-athletes for the awards and vote on each week's winners.

For the first time in his career Juan Garcia-Tunon was named the Crossroads League Player of the Week for the first time in his career. Garcia-Tunon helped No. 20 Marian to a 4-0 week that included an upset of No. 10 SCAD-Savannah. The sophomore went 3-0 in singles play and 2-1 in doubles for the Knights. 

Marian will be back in action tomorrow, March 17th, as they host No. 7 Holy Cross at the Healthplex at 12:30 pm.
